founded in Bologna in November 2000and directed by dr. Alessia Branchi
aims to revive dances belongingto the European tradition which have been
lost over the last century. 

These dances are: quadrilles, waltzes,polkas and figured mazurkas.
The purpose of our association is to rediscoverthe artistic technique which,
during the XIX century, was the main interestof the most famous dancing masters.

The Società di Danza Circolo Bolognese is a branch of Società di Danza
and is an affiliated group of theRoyal Scottish Country Dance Society.
and is recognized like "fornitore di informazioni/servizi" for
Rete Civica del Comune di Bologna and is registered
in the "Registro Provinciale delle Associazioni di Promozione Sociale"
of Provincia di Bologna.
